At each and every new occurrence of spam by B4UParty.com, there will be a post to denounce their highly unethical and disrespectful use, abuse and theft of our contacts email-addresses from our personal and professional email address-books, WITHOUT OUR KNOWLEDGE OR CONSENT.
MESSAGE TO B4UParty.com: QUIT SPAMMING, STOP HARRASSING PEOPLE, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY: DELETE THOSE STOLEN EMAIL-ADDRESSES. NONE of our friends, colleagues, next-of-kin, bosses, ex-bosses, acquaintances, etc should receive any more invitations from YOU using OUR NAMES. Writing to support@b4uparty.com never got any response or action taken, and you persisted in spamming and abusing our contact details on a continuous and repeated basis.

b4uparty.com are despicable. Indeed they have stolen all my contacts' e-adds, and have continuously sent them invites a couple of times a week, using MY NAME, whereas I had nothing to do with it... go figure!!
It happened to me also, I cannot emphasise enough just how frustrating that is. They should be hunted down in London. They're giving us Brits a bad name.
Those idiots should apologise for their deeds, publicly on their website and to all those they have been or are still busy spamming -
THOSE ASSES STOLE ALL MY CONTACTS' DETAILS AND SENT NUMEROUS INVITES TO EVERYONE ON MY MAILING-LIST, INCLUDING MY BOSS, MY EX-BOSS (WHO IS THE BOSS OF MY CURRENT BOSS) - BE DAMNED B4UPARTY!!!!!!!!
What about those repeated invites that they sent to my ex-mother-in-law?????? using my name??????? B4UParty should close down!!!!! Shame on them!!!!!!!
b4uparty should get a life!!!! They shame themselves and who they represent - and I am a brit in London
I have never encountered a website that operates in such an invasive, dishonest way. Why on earth are they always wanting your passwords??????????? (mind you, b4uparty, this was a statement, NOT a question) This is unethical and criminal. I agree, b4uparty.com should not exist. Shame on you!!!
I receive an average of 40 invites a week from them - and if I'm not mistaken, they also sell your data to third parties. They also never responded to my emails.
in addition to stealing email-addresses, they also used my name to invite all my contacts, even those whom I hadn't spoken to in years!! I knew I should have deleted those old email-addresses long ago!!! but THAT'S NOT THE POINT: the point is b4uparty.com should NOT, REPEAT: NOT, have stolen ourcontacts details from our mailboxes, they should never have sent in invites on our behalf, making it look as if WE invited them.
I even received hate-mail from those who got invited by b4uparty on my behalf! I was asked to quit spamming them - when the fact is I NEVER SENT THEM ANY INVITES, B4UPARTY did!!! and now how do you explain and try to convince your friends and enemies that you are telling the truth???? huh???
Well if u received hate-mails from ur enemies, I lost many-a-friend that way, THANKS TO B4UPARTY. We hate you, B4UPARTY.COM!!!!!!! You're greedy and dishonest!
b4uparty.com are an extremely unethical company. Apparently they have never heard of data privacy! I gave them my Google mail account details. Naive, I admit, but I was 'invited' by a close friend of mine, so I assumed it would be ok.
The major networking site, bebo.com offer a similar service; whereby you enter your email details and they tell you which of your contacts are registered on the site. I assumed B4Uparty.com would be similar. But they emailed every one of my contacts, giving my email address and saying that I invited them to join. I wouldn't mind this invasion of privacy so much if it only happened once, but it persisted for weeks, at regular intervals.
I tried several times to cancel my account, went through the motions of getting a cancellation number and re-entering this into the website. But it never worked and their support and privacy email addresses bounce back.
I have a massive list of friends, family, co-workers and other professional contacts that have all received spam supposedly from me. I eventually found a phone number for the company [0044 (0) 121 643 9988] and rang up to get my account cancelled. A sarcastic tele-worker 'apologised profusely', claiming it was a bug in their system. Indeed.
Sorry. I just needed to vent. If anyone knows how I can make an official complaint to the UK government/watch dog for abuse of privacy data, please post it here. This company needs to be fined, and then closed down.
Hi,
Just to let you all know, I am going to make an official complaint to the ICO watchdog.
If anyone feels strongly enough to do the same, the address is.

Thanks.
Thanks everyone for your comments. B4UParty should quit being so unethical and dishonest.
Sean, you explained perfectly how it all happened - the same occurred to us too. You can imagine just how embarrassing and frustrating that was to us and to all our friends, relatives, co-workers, bosses, or as Fiona said, even to our "enemies"... As you said, once is "acceptable", repeatedly a couple of times a week and for weeks and months, NO. Stealing our contacts?? that's despicable.
We should all make an official complaint about them. Enough is enough.
you all gave your email passwords to that website, dont you?
To: Anonymous
Yes, we were foolish enough to give our email password to the site. But, bebo.com have a similar feature where they just cross reference your address list with their members.
If you got the invite from a close friend, and had previous experience using such a feature, you'd be more inclined to trust the site, and give your details.
That does not give them the right to contact everyone on your contact list every few days, basically saying that you are begging them to join the site.
I wouldn't even mind so much, but my name was attached it it!
We got fooled into giving away our email passwords to them - they NEVER forewarned us as to WHY we had to give our passwords or as to HOW it was going to be used and abused the way they did. They tricked us into their scam!! May they be damned!!!!!!
What peeves us the most is that
1. They STOLE our contact details without our knowledge and took advantage of us and them
2. Our contacts got invited using OUR names although we NEVER EVER invited them.
3. They never responded to our emails and pleas to get them to STOP THE HARRASSMENT.
4. Why the hell are they ALWAYS asking for your passwords????? As Jane said, this was NOT a question!!! The fact is plain & simple: it is highly unethical and criminal of B4UParty.Com to invade our privacy and take advantage of our our personal details for commercial profit.
5. B4UParty.com: STOP, QUIT SPAMMING AND STEALING OUR CONTACTS!! Damn all of you at B4UParty.Com. An apology is in order, u rude and dishonest thieves.
I've been reading this blog for quite some time and I figured out that I had to calm down a bit before writing a comment. Reason being that all I could do is blurt out a thousand expletives to describe what kind of idiots these b4uparty jerks are!!! They should close down!!! They are a shame to the web community. Never before had we seen such a scam. No other online community misbehaves that way.
This b4uparty site should be hunted down, fined and closed down. They turn a deaf ear to your concerns, they either never respond by email, or else respond sarcastically and rudely by phone. This kind of abuse should not be tolerated. Close them down, we say.

Dear Sir/Madam,
Please find attached my ‘Privacy and Electronic Communications’ complaint against ‘B4U Group PLC’. This matter has now been resolved, however I wish to share my experiences to bring this unethical company to your attention.
Although I have suffered damages to reputation and credibility as a result of this company’s actions, the main purposes of this complaint are to; 1, raise awareness of their malpractices 2, get them to change their processes and 3, get them to publicly apologise to all they have affected.
Many thanks for taking the time to process my application. What is most shocking about this abuse of data privacy is that it was perpetrated by a UK-based registered PLC. I hope the processing of this complaint will send a strong message out to other companies as to best practice when dealing with personal details electronically.
As the Internet becomes more mainstream, and we attempt to regulate it, this kind of malpractice can no longer be tolerated. I hold an MSc in Marketing, and am a practitioner in the field. Companies like this give electronic marketing a bad name and must be publicly stopped.
If you require anything further, or I can assist in any way, please don’t hesitate to contact me by phone, email or post.
Yours faithfully,
Seán...
Well-done Sean! We admire your courage and willingness to make things right.
You're absolutely right on all three issues, and the reasons for this blog are exactly that. Matters NEVER got resolved in private via email or phone, the only way was to go via the public route. Let the world know. B4UParty.com has been given ENOUGH opportunities to make things right in a discreet private way, but they stubbornly carried on with their unethical shameless ways. Too bad for them. This blog will sensitise the web community and bring their malpractices out in the open, just the way the ICO watchdog will watch them closely from now on.
The way they abused and took advantage of our names, our contacts, of our emails and passwords simply cannot be overlooked or forgiven.
Does Google know that they stole peoples gmail contacts?
Sean: how did it get sorted out with b4uparty.com? did they respond to emails? 'cos they did not respond to mine!
Thank u all for sharing ur awful experiences with this abominable website - they are shameless abusers!
They stole ALL emails: private, public, professional. My 70-year-old boss even received a silly invite from them. Imagine the embarrassment. More than anything they shame themselves.
Jen: The only way to unsubscribe is to call them on 0044 (0) 121 643 9988...they ignore emails, and their online form doesn't work. Best of luck...
